About
My Name is Natalie Kane, I’m a 20 something arts facilitator, writer, sculptor and curator, and I am terrible with co-ordination. I generally write about art here, my visits to galleries and the wonderful people I meet being an arts nerd. I’ll also occasionally let you know what I’m doing in my mission to make art fun, useful and accessible, through my work with Creative Youth Workshops. Occasionally I’ll post up a stupid picture of my cats, so sorry in advance.
In my spare time I invigilate exhibitions here - Fabrica and Lighthouse in Brighton. They are all wonderful places, and if you live down south you should go and see what’s on.
I also run Blank Slate Gallery, which places Temporary Galleries in Public Spaces in order to engage the public with contemporary visual art. We run workshops throughout the exhibitions that seek to engage people with contemporary art, and present art as being useful, creative, and accessible for all!
